The rooftop terrace of the restaurant The Grill offers 100 seats.
When summer heats up in Munich, there is hardly anything more amazing than sitting in a shadowy beer garden with your friends and enjoying life with a snack and a glass stein of good German beer or two. However, there are alternatives galore in Munich, especially for those who think that there are occasions when ale-benches and beer mugs don’t quite cut it. Hot tip: visit one of the many spectacular rooftop bars that are scattered all across the city and enjoy your drink with a gorgeous view surrounding you.

Oriental statues and various foliage plants ooze a distinctive Asian flair on the terrace. Make sure you try the home-made Arabic mezze, hummus, baba ghanoush and tabouleh – they’re to die for! You can have a chat in one of the comfortable cane chairs and big sofas with orange cushions or just watch the sun set over the sprawling metropolis with the twin domes of Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) in the background and the Alps on the horizon.
